Little Adventurers (HomeEd) Winter Term 2021

Recurring Event see all

25 November @ 10:00 am 11:30 am

Our little adventurers is a term-time activity & learning club for home-educated and pre-school 4 – 6-year-olds.

Every week a new, hands-on STEAM*-based craft project will be presented to our Little Adventurers, designed to teach important life skills subconsciously through play, crafting and building. With no right or wrong answer or method, the classes will encourage children to innovate, create and experiment outside of their comfort zones.

*(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths) We take our Little Adventurers on a tactile adventure allowing them the time and space to properly explore different materials, textures, colours, sounds and smells.

We encourage repetition to increase confidence and plenty of opportunity for the practice that children need to master and lock in new skills. This 2hr session allows enough time for play within each activity and time for your child to rearrange, explore, combine and transform materials. We nurture their spontaneity and sense of wonder – and have a lot of fun!

Over time, with our gentle guidance, our Little Adventurers will learn to problem-solve in a way that plays to their strengths, giving them increased self-confidence, patience, and a space to safely find their own individuality and styles. These classes will inspire children to be the creative problem solvers and innovators of tomorrow!

The session duration is 120 minutes.

As places are so limited and sought after, places are allocated per term.

Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult who may sit in our relaxed cafe bar and enjoy our choice of snacks, beverages, and free WiFi.
